Alright... where do I begin with Jimmy's Pub? How about a tldr; This place is a dump. Keep driving.

We just moved into the area last year and finally made it to this little place today. Great prices on food and beer. Wonderful service and fun people. Kodee the manager actually came out and talked to me about the burger he was going to make for me. I don't think I've had some.one do that since I was thinking Cygnus in downtown grand Rapids years ago. A fun place to hang out with some normal people

P.S. I'd like to say that "Jimmy's famous french onion dip" lived up to it's name, but I'm reminded of Vanilla Ice and his one hit "Ice Ice Baby" before fading into unknown obscurity.

It was at this point that I decided that it was time to concede. I was forced to approach a bartender and ask for the check myself, as our waitress seemingly vanished after bringing us our food. Maybe she was busy giving that fork to someone else. Anyways, after braving the smoke-cloud once again, at least we made it back to the car to live another day.

After putting in our order from the admittedly limited selection on their menu (what kind of pub doesn't have fries or onion rings?) and waiting a fairly average amount of time for the food to arrive, I can only say that my parents and I were sorely dissapointed. I ordered the pizza to share with my mother, and my father ordered the bacon bleu cheese burger. It began with our waitress dropping my mother's fork and proceeding to pick it up and ask if she wanted a new one. Never, in any one of our combined 121 years of life had we been asked that question in any restaurant - and there have been plenty of silverware dropping incidents in that time. Let's begin with the burger - the bun tasted like it might have served many dutiful years as the doorstop for Jimmy's. The bleu cheese genuinely had the aroma of a rich mozzerella that they left in a cold, moldy, dank cellar until it became bleu cheese. I must assume that it went right from the cellar to the bun because it was entirely unmelted and just plopped onto the overdone patty (not cooked to order) in a wanton fashion the likes of which have never been observed in the modern era. The Oscar Meyer-esque bacon garnished the otherwise vapid stack. My father had to walk up to the bar to ask for ketchup and mustard - normally a standard served with any burger at a pub.

After deciding to eat here while on vacation with my parents and wading through a cloud of cigarette smoke to enter into this establishment, I was immediately struck by the joyless sussuration of conversation, as opposed to the jovial hum that is oft-experienced in a pub setting. While at the time I was slightly offput by this bleak reality, in the following half-hour I would be desperately longing for this period of tranquility. I'll get to that in a second.

Good prices on drinks but eat before hand. I prefer pub one 11 over this place.

Good place to grab drinks, good pizza, play pool and listen to good music on the weekends

Great burgers and service!

The pizza comes in one size - 12". I assumed my mother and I would be able to reasonably share the pie. The pizza arrived hot, at the very least. I must presume that sauce is an add-on item because there was an utter dearth proving to make our meal rather unappealing. I chose to top the pizza with pepperoni, ham, and sausage, all of which tasted the same. I continued my venture into this uninspiring conglomerate for another slice more before I was stopped in my tracks by a sizable piece of plastic found under the cheese and over the crust. Where did this strip of Saran-like plastic originate? Presumably a relic of the frozen, month-old premanufactured crust. Regardless, I decided I valued both my own and my mother's personal health over a couple more slices of this monstrosity.
